Volunteer Ministries

Both young men and the men of our parish assist our priests and deacon with mass. The 9:00 AM mass is assisted by the men of our parish and the 11:00 AM mass is assisted by the youth. If you are interested in being a part of this ministry dedicated to the presentation of the sacred liturgy, reach out to the office for more information.

Our sacristans prepare the altar, sanctuary, and church area for the Sacred Liturgy, and put items away after mass. They also coordinate with other liturgical volunteers before the liturgy to ensure that all roles are filled. Our Sundays lectors proclaim the readings from Sacred Scripture for all to hear. If you are interested in becoming a lector for Christ the King, please get in touch with the office.

Our sound board team helps make our Sunday 11:00 mass beautiful for both those attending in person and those who hear the homilies online. Young adults and youth from our parish help with this ministry and if you are interested in learing more about this ministry, reach out the office.

Our ushers are the friendly faces of the men from our parish that hold the doors open for those attending our Sunday masses. They also help with the collections, and the procession of the faithful to receive our Blessed Lord in the most holy sacrament of the Eucharist. Our cantors fill Christ the King with praise through the lifting of our voices in the Psalm. If you are interested in becoming a cantor, express your interest to the office.

Our Sunday Worship Team is a dedicated team of parishioners that serve at our 11:00 AM mass. There are youth, young adults and those who have been part of the ministry for years. If you would like to help with this ministry, please reach out to the office. 

We are always looking for aids and teachers who have a passion and heart for teaching the children of the parish our beautiful Catholic faith. 

Our Garden Crew tend to all the plant beds on the Christ the King campus. They are the reason that the campus always looks so beautiful. They plant flowers and plants, pull weeds, mulch and do all that is necassary to keep the grounds looking great. If you are interested in getting your hands dirty and helping with this ministry, let the office know.

Our lawn crew is a group of dedicated volunteers who tend to our grounds, mowing, trimming, raking, planting, mulching and taking care of the grounds and all the heavy lifitng tasks around the campus. If you want to help with the campus upkeep, get in touch with the office.
